Hello! My name is Melissa (or Missy). I have loved dogs all my life. I started training dogs in High School when I signed up to be a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs For The Blind. After high school, I secured an apprenticeship at Canine Companions (CC), the largest service dog training organization in the US. I completed a competitive four-year program learning how to train dogs for people with disabilities and taught clients how to work with their new best friend. After completing the apprenticeship, I became a certified trainer through Assistance Dogs International (ADI).
My husband and I have 4 amazing children (all teenagers and adults now) and 3 beautiful dogs of our own. I am still connected to CC through volunteer puppy raising.
I am now privileged to work with private owners, like yourself, in building strong and balanced relationships with their dogs.
SERVICES
$75 for an hour session
Dog Training
Elevate your dog's behavior with an expert 1-on-1 training session. With over 25 years of experience, I offer customized training programs to meet your dog's needs and improve obedience.
$80 a day
Boarding
(dogs 12+ months only)
In my home, there are plenty of furry and human playmates for your beloved dog. I provide a safe, loving, and happy environment so you can have peace of mind while you are away.
$150 a day
Board & Train
(all dog ages)
My board and train service ensures your dog receives 1+ hour professional training, 1+ hour daily walk, plenty of dog playmates, and love in a safe home environment.
$25 per walk
$10 Travel fee may apply
Dog Walking
Let me take your furry friend on a 1+ hour walk to ensure they stay happy and healthy. Time of day may fluctuate.
$12 an hour (3 hour minimum)
Doggy Daycare
I provide a fun, safe, and loving home for your dog while you are away during the day.
